Call for abstracts
The next BIVEC-GIBET Transport Research Days will take place on Thursday June 5 and Friday June 6, 2025 in Luxembourg organized by the University of Luxembourg (Uni.lu) and the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER).
The central theme of the conference will be "Towards sustainable and inclusive transport in an era of digital transformation".
The Transport Research Days offers young and established scholars from the three Benelux Countries an opportunity to present their research findings to an informed audience of transport researchers. The conference will take place in the Maison du Savoir of the University of Luxembourg in Belval, the south of Luxembourg.
Abstract submission
Colleagues from the Benelux-universities and research institutions, who are doing research on any topic related to transport, mobility and logistics, are invited to submit «extended abstracts» via the form below for selection as conference contributions.
Topics can be very broad, directly related to transport, mobility or logistics, or indirectly covering issues like land use, equity, economic transition, technology or policy frameworks. Abstracts can cover fundamental research, but also practice-oriented research.
All abstracts will be peer-reviewed by a scientific committee. Your abstract must not exceed 1,500 words. It must be typed in Times New Roman size 12 single-spaced.
Abstracts must be submitted by January 31, 2025 at the latest.
The contributions will be published in a conference proceedings book. Please also note that BIVEC-GIBET awards a junior (-30 years) and a (senior) best paper award of EUR 500 and EUR 750, respectively. Moreover, we also plan a special issue with selected conference papers in the European Journal of Transport and Infrastructure Research (EJTIR).
