Keynote lectures

During the conference, two keynote lectures were given. The first keynote was given by the 2020 Transport Chair Professor Maria Attard.

The second keynote was given by Professor Veronique Van Acker.

Call for abstracts

The next BIVEC-GIBET Transport Research Days will take place on Thursday, May 27 and Friday, May 28, 2021, online, organized by Delft University of Technology, Delft, the Netherlands, in collaboration with TRAIL Research School. The Transport Research Days offers young and established scholars from the three Benelux-Countries an opportunity to present their research findings to an informed audience of transport researchers. The conference will take place online. Weblinks to the different sessions will be placed on this page as soon as the draft agenda is available.

On this occasion, Professor Maria Attard, BIVEC Chair, and Head of Geography and Director of the Institute for Climate Change and Sustainable Development at the University of Malta, will give a public lecture entitled: "Our cities - how space distribution fosters inequality in transport"

Registration fees

Registration fee online: 25 euro for BIVEC members, 75 for non-BIVEC members (at least one year BIVEC-GIBET member, or TRAIL PhD).

Registration fees include a hard copy book with proceedings

Abstract submission

Colleagues from the Benelux-universities and research institutions, who are doing research on any topic related to transport, mobility and logistics, are invited to submit «extended abstracts» for selection as conference contributions.
